Mupparimanam

Mupparimanam is an upcoming film for Shanthanu Bhagyaraj directed by debutant Athiroopan. He is known for working as assistant with director Bala in Naan Kadavul and for his short film ‘Jananam’ for which he had won the State level award. Mupparimanam is a full fledged commercial entertainer for the actor after a long time.

Produced by Samayalaya Creations, Srushti Dange of Megha fame will be pairing opposite Shanthanu. G.V.Prakash Kumar will be composing tunes and presently a song with 27 lead actors is being filmed. The list of those 27 actors are as follows:

Choreographer Brindha master has directed the dance sequence and the song’s lyrics were written by Kabilan Vairamuthu. A grand set if an auditorium was erected at Chennai and the filming took place there. The song will be taking place for the New Year party in the film. The movie’s cast consists of Appukutty and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles.

Made in a mega budget, the filming was done in parts of Kerala like Athirapally and Alappuzha. The movie is currently in the post production stages and the makers are planning to have the audio launch by the end of this month.
