Yogi B to rap for Thala 57
Article posted on 12 December 2016Musician Yogi B who is considered as the forerunner for all the Hip Hop songs of Kollywood was last seen rapping in movies like Kuruvi and Polladhavan. After a long gap of 7 years back, he is said to comeback to Tamil cine industry for Thala by singing for a song in Anirudh Ravichander’s music. The rockstar composer took it to Twitter to officially share the news for bringing him for the first time to sing for his tunes.
He had also tweeted a 10 second sample video sharing their excitement to work together. On the other hand, the shooting of AK 57 is progressing with the team at Bulgaria with Vivek Oberoi recently joining the shoot. The Bollywood actor plays the antagonist in this spy thriller opposite Ajith Kumar who plays an Interpol officer.
Akshara Haasan makes her Kollywood acting debut alongside Kajal Aggarwal featured as Thala’s wife. Directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the entire shooting is likely to be wrapped up by the end of January. The makers are eyeing for releasing this yet to be titled flick for Tamil New Year on April 14, 2017.
