Dulquer Salmaan roped in for a crucial role for actress Savitri’s biopic!
Article posted on 24 April 2017Actress Savitri’s biopic is directed by Nag Ashwin and it is set to be a Tamil –Telugu bilingual. Keerthi Suresh will be seen as the legendary actress Savitri and Samantha essays the role of ace actress Jamuna, who was also the close friend of Savitri.
It was speculated that actor Suriya will be essaying the role of veteran actor Gemini Ganesan’s role in the biopic and the rumors were denied later. Now, it is reported that actor Dulquer Salmaan is roped to play as actor Gemini Ganesan in the biopic. Interesting indeed!
‘Vyjayanthi Films’ is producing the bilingual and the makers have confirmed that Dulquer Salmaan is part of this biopic. The bilingual is titled as ‘Nadigayar Thilagam’ in Tamil and ‘Mahanati’ in Telugu.
