Animal: A Global Box Office Phenomenon, Beats Pathaan's Second Week
Article posted on 12 December 2023Ranbir Kapoor's movie, Animal, has made more than Rs 700 crore worldwide. As per Sacnilk, it has earned Rs 432.37 crore in India.
The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has now surpassed the total box office collection of Aamir Khan's Dangal in the domestic market. On its second Sunday, Animal earned Rs 37 crore in all languages, bringing its total to just over Rs 660 crore until Saturday.
The movie's second Sunday performed better than two big Shah Rukh Khan movies, Pathaan and Jawan. Pathaan made Rs 28.5 crore, while Jawan earned Rs 36.85 crore.
Animal has even surpassed Pathaan's second-week earnings of Rs 429.9 crore but is still behind Jawan's second weekend at Rs 477 crore.
Besides Ranbir, the movie features Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri.
