Pa Ranjith directorial Kabali which is in the post-production stage has come out very well as expected and the dubbing works are yet to start. The audio launch is also expected by the mid week of this month.
Meanwhile the director has revealed the roles played by the leading characters in the film. Superstar will as usual be seen as ‘Kabali’, a self-confident angry man who gives not punch but meaningful dialogues.
The female lead Radhika Apte plays his wife, Kumudavalli, a typical gardener who sizzles with Rajinikanth in a duet song shot at Goa. Dhanshika is given a tomboy look as a Thailand-based gangster named Yogi who stands against Kabali.
In the supporting roles, we have Kalaiyarasan as a gangster’s son ‘Tamizh Kumaran’ heading a school founded by Kabali and who admires the protagonist. John Vijay will have a negative shade being Kabali’s mentor ‘Ameer’ and having a slight touch of humour. While the main antagonists of this flick are Kishore and Chinese actor Winston Chao.
