Simbu in Mani Ratnam’s multi – starrer movie
Article posted on 11 September 2017In the recent times Mani Ratnam has brought back Tamil cinema’s biggest heroes and lifted them again to stardom again. For Arjun and Aravind Swamy it was a good come back for them then both had good movies in Tamil. Aravind Swamy rose to fame overnight; such is Mani Ratnam’s professionalism. Now to the list Simbu has also been added.
According to the latest reports, STR has signed Maniratnam’s next, which is a multi-starrer film. The movie also features Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Jyotika, Fahadh Faasil and Nani in lead roles alongside Arvind Swamy as well. Naturally, a Maniratnam film without AR Rahman is something hypothetical and he will cross 25th year with the maverick filmmaker with this project. It is not yet confirmed on who is handling cinematography and for the moment, Santhosh Sivan is the name on top.
Shooting of this film will be commencing by January 2018 and release is scheduled for September tentatively.
