Vidya Balan opposite Thailavar in Ranjith’s next?
Article posted on 21 February 2017Director Pa Ranjith who directed Rajinikanth in ‘Kabali’ is all set to start his next with Thalaivar again while Dhanush will produce this film under his banner Wunderbar Studios. ‘Kabali’ was a blockbuster hit. Ranjith and Rajini won excellent reviews for his splendid characterization and everyone in the film were appreciated for their best performances.
Coming back to Ranjith’s next, it was told that once he completes writing script for the film, Rajini will join the team to start their shoot. If Rajini completes his current ongoing project ‘2.0’ with director Shankar, he will join the cast. Else Rajini will continue shooting simultaneously for both the films.
The recent buzz is that Vidya Balan is roped in to play the lead actress opposite Rajini in this yet-to-be-titled film. Did you know? Vidya Balan was previously approached for the lead in the films “Kabali’ and ‘Lingaa’. Later she was replaced with Radhika Apte and Sonakshi Sinha respectively citing date issues.
Can we see Vidya Balan and Rajini together in this film? We need to wait for an official confirmation from the team.
