Kamal Haasan & Shruti Haasan to play father-daughter
Article posted on 13 January 2016The daughter of Ulaganayagan has been establishing herself in wide cine fields with her individual standout performance. Now to add feather to both of their hats, we can witness Kamal Haasan playing the father role for Shruti Haasan in an upcoming flick.
This would be the first time for both of them to share the screen space together. Scripted by the actor himself, the shooting is likely to start by February for which he is looking for locations at US. This movie is not the ‘Appa Amma Vilayattu’ which was reported earlier but a fresh script to be directed by the Malayalam director T.K. Rajeev Kumar.
Maestro Ilayaraja is expected to compose tunes and if it materialises, Kamal would get to work with Maestro after 11 years since Mumbai Express in 2005. Apart from this, Kamal also has an action thriller again with the Thoongavanam director Rajesh M. Selva.
