RGV did not change

RGV did not touch any controversies in Vangaveeti Movie. He did not portray the ugly sides of Radha-Ranga-Nehrus. Had he chosen limited timeframe per say from Vangaveeti becoming an MLA to his death, he would have able to portray effectively. In TFI, RGV only has the guts and the knowledge of workings of Vijayawada politics in 1980’s. Given RGV’s fearless nature, it is surprising that he took a very safe / non-controversial path. With too much Gore this movie is a big NO for ladies and kids . Those who are of ardent fans of Ranga (or) Nehru, may watch this low quality production, out of curiosity. Others may happily skip.
Vangaveeti – Drama with Vengeance

Vangaveeti is surely RGV’s better films that have come out in the recent past. The film will be viewed from different perspectives as all those who knew the entire story will like it immensely. But for those, who do not know the back story can find this film as a routine revenge drama with some RGV mark. The film has a terrific buzz in Andhra Pradesh and will be watched quite heavily just for the curiosity factor.

The movie ended up as a documentary of a series of gory murders rather than presenting then society and core issues to the audience. RGV did not touch any controversies in Vangaveeti Movie. The movie has good production values and background score, picturization and recreation of 70’s 80’s ambiance are the attractions on the technical front. In that process, the movie ended up as a documentary of a series of gory murders rather than presenting then society and core issues to the audience.
