'Luckunnodu' has some decent moments going its way. An interesting interval block, good comedy by Vishnu and gang are some assets. However, a slightly dragged out second half and lack of grip in the proceedings during this time makes this film just an okay watch this weekend.
It's predictable storyline, but the filmmaker got the packaging right

A Mumbai-based don, JK hatches the perfect plan to rob a baggage of Rs 25 crore in new currency notes being sent to the banks by RBI. But JK’s close aide Antony who executes the plan decides to keep the money to himself and leaves the bag with Lucky, promising to pay him Rs 1 crore for keeping it safe for a day. Antony gets run over by a vehicle when JK confronts him, but the unfinished message in Antony’s cellphone lead JK to Lucky. As you can see, it’s predictable storyline, but the filmmaker got the packaging right.

This half goes on with some comedy scenes which fail to make audience laugh and some teasing scenes of Vishnu Manchu and Hansika Motwani and songs in between. This half is so boring and do not have anything to entertain and even small guest appearance of Mohan Babu in a song do not save it. Only positive thing about this half is the twists that come up at the interval. These twists have created necessary curiosity for the second half. With an interesting twist at interval point audience get curiosity to watch more such interesting moments in the second half but it disappoints except for some twists.
