Singh is Bliing: Box Office Report
Article posted on 04 October 2015Akshay Kumar starrer Singh is Bliing released on October 2 has touched good numbers in two days. Directed by Prabhu Deva, Akshay has reprised his same role in Singh is Kinng. The film critics are calling it as a ‘low rent comedy’ as it did not meet the very high expectations of Akshay Kumar movies. Yet the tickets were almost 60-70% sold out in Delhi and Punjab regions in advance.
The opening day collection was 20.67 crores and it reduced to 14.50 crores in the next day. So a total of 35.17 crores are being grossed up by the Gandhi Jayanthi weekend. It was released worldwide in US, UK, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Malaysia too. At this rate, whether Singh is Bliing will enter the 100 crore club is slightly questionable.
