Vijay Sethupathi has now grabbed a special place in Kollywood and his next film ‘96’ starring Trisha as his opposite is directed by C. Prem Kumar. In this movie, Vijay Sethupathi plays a coming of age character which covers his life across three states with some important events at each stage. In one of the stages, Vijay Sethupathi is supposedly playing a 96-year-old grandfather role. Apart from the 96-year-old, it is also said that the 16-year-old and 36-year-old stages of his life will also be portrayed in ‘96’ which has him play a photographer.
Both the lead actors will be appearing in different makeovers for this movie. Janagaraj is coming back into the industry after a very long time. The film’s shooting is fast approaching the climax and at this point of time, a good news is learnt that Seven Screen Studio has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of this film. The plans are on full swing to release the film by the month of February
The film is directed by Prem Kumar, who handled cinematography for many films including Vijay Sethupathi’s Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. Again Vijay Sethupathi taking a leap of faith, hope it becomes a success and it has always been a success as he is known for his experimentation. The plans are on full swing to release the film by the month of February 2018. The good news about 96 is that Seven Screen Studio has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of this film.
