Deepika Padukone roped in as the lead for ‘Badlapur 2’?
Article posted on 26 May 2017Varun Dhawan’s dark genre role in ‘Badlapur’ directed by Sriram Raghavan won critical reviews from the audience and the film was based on the lead who rises against his rivals and avenges the death of his wife and children.
Producer Dinesh Vijan has planned to produce the sequel of ‘Badlapur’, which will be directed by Sriram Raghavan. The makers have planned to rope in Deepika Padukone as the lead and the actress will have an important role in the film. Deepika has found the role interesting and she has also accepted to do this role.
Deepika Padukone is currently busy with ‘Padmavati’ with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. ‘Badlapur 2’ will go on floors in later half of 2018.
