Deepika Padukone’s character in xXx revealed !!
Article posted on 12 November 2016Deepika Padukone whose Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage is awaited to hit the screens this January 19 has been involved in heavy promotional activities. The Bajirao Mastani actress has made special efforts for playing Serena Unger role in this action flick and is waiting for reaping fruits out of it.
She had to undergo training to perform daring action sequences and be physically fit & attractive so as to pair with Vin Diesel. She even had to sit with the movie's director DJ Caruso for a lengthy session in understanding her characterisation, dialogue delivery, the English diction and even on her costumes.
When seen in the teaser and trailer the diva is seen to lack an American accent in her dialogues. In a recent interview, she was questioned on the same and finally the lady unveiled that she plays an Indian girl in the film and hence had an Indian accent in her dialogues. Above all, she shared that this was the reason for her to choose this particular project among others.
