GV to play a rising drummer in his next
Article posted on 18 August 2016GV Prakash Kumar has been stereotypical in giving only commercial entertaining movies in his past. But now to change course of his path, he will be essaying a different role in his upcoming signed with director Rajeev Menon. The cinematographer turned director will be featuring GV as a drummer.
The plot of the film is based on the story of the rising drummer in his profession which is a first of its kind for the actor in his career. Interestingly, as the music is the key strength of the film, AR Rahman will be scoring the tunes for this flick. In fact he had already composed 4 out of the 9 tracks in the album.
The shooting is likely to roll out from September month after the other members of the cast are roped in. The makers are now in talks with Sai Pallavi of Premam fame to play the leading lady opposite GV. She has not yet signed the dotted line but if she does it would be her debut film to Kollywood.
