Salman Khan who is basking the success of Sultan has collaborated again with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan for the third time. With July 17, they celebrated 1 year of Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s success and on the same date, Kabir took it to Twitter to officially announce their next. This film titled as ‘Tubelight’ is touted to be period drama set in 1960’s about the Sino-Indian war.
The shooting will be taking place at Ladakh and Mumbai in the backdrop of the dispute over Himalayan borders. The director also shared that they will start the filming from 10 days i.e. from July 27 with the first schedule at Ladakh. As for the script, the female lead will be required only for the second half of the film and hence they will be roping in the leading lady little late.
Tubelight will be having a political backdrop along with the touch of human drama as in Kabir Khan’s previous films. Talking further about its story, the director says that it will deal with a personal issue and will have a mix of humour and emotions. A new journey begins for the duo in which Salman will travel towards China this time and is set to open to screens for next year Eid.
