Ishaara Nair is a Malayali actress who made her Kollywood debut through Venmegam and gained much attention through her role in the black comedy Sathuranga Vettai. She acted in a couple of movies and had even signed few after that. Her recent project was ‘Engada Iruntheenga Ivvallavu Naala’ directed by Kevin Joseph and produced by Joseph Lawrence under TN 75 KK Creations banner.
She was paired opposite actor Akhil of Kalloori fame and had signed the dotted line with an agreed remuneration of Rs.4 Lakhs on February 28. The actress had received an advance of Rs.75,000 for the same and allotted only 2 days instead of 20 days needed by the makers. Understanding her priorities, the filming commenced with the other scenes without her.
Later she had joined the team for just 2 days but full commitment from her side. After those 2 days, when the producer approached her to get call sheet for the remaining 18 days, she had been slipping from them with lame excuses like she is at Dubai, Kerala in the shooting of other movies. Finally after few days, the lady has just messaged in her WhatsApp that the story is different from what the director had narrated to her and cannot join the filming.
In regard to the delayed shooting, the producer had faced a loss of several lakhs. They had even approached the Kerala Actors Association and Stunt Master Jaguar Thangam but failed to get proper response from either of them. Left to no other choice, the director as well as the producer have decided to approach the court for justice. This news had been a shocking one among the Kollywood town for a growing actress like Ishaara.
