The Biggest Awards in South India, SIIMA - South Indian International Movie Awards is back with its 5 th edition on 30 th June and 1 st July 2016, at the Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore. With less than a month to go for SIIMA – The biggest Awards in South India, which brings talents from the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam Industries together, is known for its grandeur and hospitality, has been taking over 250 film celebrities from South India to different countries every year promoting South Indian Cinema Globally . After a successful year in Dubai, this year, SIIMA 2016 travels to Singapore on June 30 th and July 1 st, for yetanother glamorous extravaganza of its sorts.
A press conference was hosted in Hyderabad to announce the spectacular line-up of the performances for the much awaited event. The event is all set to witness performances by the biggest names from the entertainment industry like Anirudh, Hansika Motwani, Rakul Preet, Huma Qureshi, Sudhir Babu, Pranitha, Amyra Dastur, Pragya Jaiswal, Aishwarya Rajesh, Vedika, Shanvi Srivastava, Rachita Ram, Vijay Yesudas and Neeraj Madhav, will be setting the stage on fire in the 2 day event.
The Press Meet was attended by Brinda Prasad – Chairperson SIIMA, Rana Daggubati, Huma Qureshi, Pragya Jaiswal, Pranitha Subhash and Amyra Dastur. Adding to that, announcing the grand celebrations at Singapore, Brinda Prasad, chairperson of SIIMA stated “We have an exciting line-up in all the four languages, which Singapore hasn’t witnessed ever before. SIIMA is all set to entertain once again with the biggest stars and even bigger performances this year.”
Bollywood beauty, Huma Qureshi, who is all set to make her South Indian debut in Malayalam, with the legendary actor Mammootty, will be performing too. Sharing the excitement, she remarked “I am very excited about my debut in South with Mr. Mamootty and this is the first time I’m performing in the South Awards. I’m sure it’s going to be a great time in Singapore!” After successfully finishing four seasons, SIIMA has firmly established its identity in the minds of viewers and has now become synonymous with the very best that the South Indian film industries have to offer. Speaking further about the event, Rana Daggubati quoted, “I am looking forward to the awards, especially because of my nomination. I’m sure the event is going to be scintillating.”
