Vijay answers for the false accusations of tax evasion
Article posted on 07 October 2015The tax raid taken place at the residences and offices of actor Vijay and the producers of Puli on September 30, the eve of Puli release upset the efforts of the team. On October 6, Vijay had given an official report from his side to clear the gossip cloud. When the income tax officials gave an unexpected visit, his office workers and the family members at home gave them a full cooperation.
Vijay has been a regular tax-payer and did not evade from paying it. But several media sources are starting to spread that he had not paid for the past 5 years. The actor has requested them not to spread false allegations that hurts his feelings. As the law abiding citizen, he has paid the income tax, property tax and professional tax that he is supposed to pay.
