The people behind the new movie "Naadu" shared on Sunday that the film has been given a U certificate after going through the censorship process. The main actors in the movie are Tharshan and Mahima Nambiar.
Directed by M Saravanan, known for films like "Engeyum Eppothum" (2011) and "Ivan Vera Mathiri" (2013), "Naadu" tells the story of a village that doesn't have proper medical facilities. Mahima Nambiar's character, a city doctor, is sent to the village for a week. However, Tharshan and the villagers try to convince her to stay and be the village's permanent doctor.
In addition to Mahima and Tharshan, the movie features Singam Puli, R.S.Sivaji, Arul Das, Inba Ravikumar, and Vasantha. The music is done by C Sathya (known for Aranmanai 3), KA Sakthivel is the cinematographer, and Pon Kathiresh PK is handling the editing. Chakra and Raj are supporting the project financially.
