Gadar 2

Sunny Deol's movie Gadar 2 has made more than Rs 200 crore at the cinemas in just five days after it came out.
According to initial guesses by an industry tracker named Sacnilk, the movie earned the most money in a single day on Independence Day, about Rs 55 crore.

On the first day, the movie earned Rs 40 crore and the second day, it made Rs 43 crore, then third day, it got Rs 51 crore after that, on the fourth day, it was Rs 38 crore and Finally, on the fifth day, it earned a big Rs 55 crore and the total, all these days added up to Rs 229 crore made in India.

Anil Sharma directed the movie. It's a follow-up to Deol's famous movie from 2001, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Deol is again playing the same important character of Tara Singh in the movie.

It was released in theaters on August 11. The people who made the movie said that Gadar 2 has broken records and done incredibly well in cinemas.

They mentioned that it has set a new record in Indian cinema. The company called Zee Studios made the movie.

In the movie, you'll also see Ameesha Patel as Sakeena and Ukarsh Sharma as Charanjeet, just like in the first movie.
