Kanguva: The Mighty Warrior, A Glimpse of Suriya's 42nd Film
Article posted on 24 July 2023As promised, on Sunday, the creators of Kanguva unveiled a sneak peek into the film's world in celebration of actor Suriya's 48th birthday.
The glimpse commences with a compelling voiceover detailing the lineage of Suriya's character, Kanguva, and highlighting the character's most courageous and valorous deeds. We are then treated to a scene where Suriya, donning a skeleton mask as Kanguva, hurls a flaming spear towards an enemy on the battlefield.
Accompanying this captivating sequence, a brief song honors the bravery of Kanguva. Suriya himself approaches the camera, making direct eye contact with the audience, and poses the question, "Nalamaa?"
Kanguva, the upcoming film, will feature cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy, a frequent collaborator of director Siva. The production design will be handled by Milan, and Nishad Yusuf will take charge of the editing. Action sequences will be choreographed by Supreme Sundar, while Narayana is a co-writer of the script. The dialogues for the movie are penned by Madhan Karky.
The film is supported by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and is planned for an early 2024 release in 10 languages and 3D format. Kanguva will mark the actor's 42nd project and is co-produced by UV Creations and Studio Green.
