Aditi Shankar, the youngest daughter of acclaimed director Shankar, made her acting debut in "Viruman" opposite Karthi, produced by Suriya. Following the film's massive success, she secured her next role opposite top hero Sivakarthikeyan in the upcoming summer release "Maveeran"

It has been reported that Aditi has signed on to star in a new movie directed by the sensational filmmaker Ramkumar, known for his two superhits "Mudasupatti" and "Ratsasan," both belonging to entirely different genres. The film will feature Vishnu Vishal in the lead, marking his third collaboration with the director. According to reports, the new film is slated to begin production in mid-May of this year. An official announcement is awaited confirmation.
