Originally known for her prowess as a comedy actor, writer, and producer, Chizzy made her television debut by clinching victory in a BBC Talent initiative. Her talent paved the way for roles in prominent shows like EastEnders, The Inbetweeners, and Silent Witness before she landed the acclaimed part of heart surgeon Mo Effanga in Holby City.
After five years portraying a pivotal character in the medical drama, she's eager to swap her surgical attire for the glitz of Strictly Come Dancing. Beyond her acting skills, Chizzy holds a degree in Criminology and pledges to deliver some killer dance moves on the ballroom floor.
Recently, Chizzy has bravely shared her struggles with depression, but she now embraces the future with nothing but positivity. "I'm ready to embark on a new chapter," she says. "There's so much excitement ahead."
