Arshad Warsi is actually a good actor and hence it is sad to see him take up such roles. Thanks to a badly written character, his act too falters. Also, he seems to be struggling to get the Bihari accent right. Over all, The Legend Of Michael Mishra is a complete waste of your time and money.
Intelligent Comedy

The film, however, goes somewhat down after the first half. During the first half, we can see a lot of comedy and spectacular scenes. During the other half, comedy seems to be a missing thing. But overall, other events do compensate for this.

Warsi’s sidekicks, including the chief one Half Pant (Kayoze Irani), take the film’s absurdity many notches higher. It shocks you even if you stop caring. There’s no escaping.

As far as the performances are concerned, Arshad Warsi disappoints the viewer with his performance. His disconnect with his part is pretty evident as the film progresses. Even though the director has infused many of Arshad Warsi's trademarked comedy and mannerisms, the sad part is that, all of this does nothing to the film. It lands up looking like a caricature and a parody of all his previous roles! Aditi Rao Hydari, knowingly or unknowingly, lands up looking totally outspaced in the entire film.
‘The Legend of Michael Mishra’ is a tall tale that falls severely short

The story within a story is framed by Boman Irani’s restaurateur, who seeks to impress on a group of visiting college students the importance of Michael Mishra’s epic romance.
